The Russian Association of International Cooperation (RAMC)
is an international union of public associations and the legal successor of the USSR and VOKS.
1925 year - Establishment of the All-Union Society of Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries (VOKS)
1958 year - Unification of various friendship societies and Soviet public organizations into the Union of Soviet Friendship Societies (USFOS)
1992 year - Establishment of the International Union of Public Associations of the Russian Association of International Cooperation (RAMC)
RAMS continues to develop the main areas of activity of the SSOD. Currently, the Association's work covers all aspects of life in Russia and its partner countries and aims to achieve the following objectives:
• Development of public diplomacy
• Coordination of activities with 104 member organizations of RAMS
• Harmonization of international relations
• Promotion of professional and business cooperation and comprehensive exchanges in the fields of culture, science, education, and sports
The subject of the Agreement is long-term cooperation in the field of international activities in accordance with the goals, objectives, and direction of the organizations' activities as defined in their Charters, taking into account the resources and capabilities of the organizations in the implementation of each individual project.
