Congratulations on the birthday of a member of the jury of the L.N. Tolstoy International Peace Prize, Achala Moulick!
Today is the anniversary of an outstanding Indian writer, historian, diplomat, and great friend of Russia. Mrs. Moulick has devoted her life to building cultural bridges between our countries. She was the head of the Archaeological Survey of India, and for her books on Russian classics (including her works on Leo Tolstoy), she was awarded the Pushkin Medal. Her notable works include "Silhouettes of Russian Literature: From Pushkin to Yevtushenko" and "100 Years of Leo Tolstoy." We are looking forward to the publication of Achala Moulick's new book on the thousand-year history of the rivalry between the West and Russia in Russian language. As a member of the jury for the L.N. Tolstoy International Peace Prize, Achala Moulick helps to promote the ideas of humanism and non-violence on a global level. For her - culture is the main instrument of peace.
On behalf of the entire Foundation, we wish Achala Moulick good health, inspiration, creative success, and many years of life!
