The application for the 2026 Leo Tolstoy International Peace Prize is still open.
In accordance with the Statute of the Prize applications submitted to the jury by March 31, 2026, will be considered in the year of submission; applications submitted after the deadline will be considered in the following year.
Proposals for candidates for the award are submitted by inter-parliamentary and other international organizations, parliaments, parliamentarians, governmental and other state bodies, public foundations, organizations and movements, scientific and research centers, institutes and institutions, educational institutions, associations of scientists, cultural and artistic figures, laureates of the Leo Tolstoy International Peace Prize, and members of the jury of the Leo Tolstoy International Peace Prize.
Self-nomination is not allowed.
The award can be submitted by individuals, initiative groups, national and international public foundations, organizations and movements, scientific and research centers, institutes and institutions, and educational institutions.
The initiators of the nomination have the right to publicly discuss the candidates they propose for the award.
Proposals for candidates for the Prize are addressed to the jury and sent to the following postal address: 121069, Moscow, P.O. Box 38, or to the following email address: TolstoyPeacePrize@mail.ru.
Documents written in Russian and English are accepted for consideration.
Proposals may be accompanied by documents confirming the achievements of the candidate for the Prize. Proposals and their attachments are submitted in a free form.
